Partnership for Colorado (PFC)
is a nonprofit coalition of three local federations working
together to efficiently offer as many choices as possible in
employee giving campaigns.
Formed in 1992, the Partnership represents over
100 nonprofits in our annual Community Giving Campaign
(over $3 million raised in 2005). We work to ensure that
employees are represented in their charitable giving options and
that we adhere to the strongest standards of efficiency, ethics
and public accountability.
A little bit goes a long way!
$10 per week underwrites a medical
diagnosis for an abused child seen by an expert clinician.
$8 per week buys one hepatitis B injection for
an uninsured baby.
$4 per week supplies a healing
toddler with nutritious, hot lunches for a year.
$1 per week provides academic
tutoring for two student-athletes for one full year.
Why do paycheck contribution campaigns work?
Because a small amount can make a monumental
difference. Choose to take advantage of the easy, convenient
payroll contributions or make a one-time donation. It’s
an easy, efficient system that works and it may allow you to give
more money to the charities you care about most because it is
spread over a year’s time.
Thanks to our donors and partner agencies, the community
impact in 2005 included: Over 10,000
Special Olympians participated in 22 sports.
Over 35,000 under or uninsured people are served.
62,000 hours of direct services provided to persons
with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
The mission of the
Partnership for Colorado
is to broaden charitable giving choices
to meet Colorado’s diverse community needs. |
